I’ve wondered a lot recently about bots, not here but on another social media platform and making content creators feel like they’re getting encouragement to keep making more and more content. Wouldn’t surprise me
hey, thanks, Human Leon! i really appreciate the (literally) organic support.
i'll let you know if i spot any verifiable robots; it wouldn't surprise me in the least, although it does seem too devious, even by Silicon Valley standards.
So funny, but not funny, regarding bots because I now think I’m being stalked by one here on Substack and she just “liked” my last original comment to you above. This “Hannah Williams” has liked at least ten of the comments I’ve made on a wide range of different substacks, DESPITE me not showing the list of my reads on my profile. She even liked a cover song request I made amongst 640 other comments on one of my favourite songwriter’s Substack. But when I look at her Substack it’s a bunch of summaries of self help and personal motivation books, the sort of insubstantial crap I’ve never been interested in. Her profile pic sort of looks a little too airbrushed. It’s starting to creep me out.
It’d be sort of interesting if at least she (the bot) had similar reading interests as me. I was looking through her “Collection” Substack and she only has one post that isn’t a paid subscriber post on it. She has 5000 subscribers though, she’s a popular bot! Which bothers me too, that people read such shitty books
ok, you don't have to reveal the new name yet. but after you're done camping on R.G. Miga Writes, I'm going to change my newsletter to R.G. Miga Writes, and then R.G. Miga Writes is going to post reaction content to breaking news from Daily Kos (today we've got, let's see... "Mouse Makes DeSantis Scream"), and multi-part analyses of the rise of the Netflix Original Series, which as we all know is a category of show which on the whole only keeps getting better with each passing year.
very elaborate! i can't wait to see how my tens of fans react to this ruse.
my favorite part about this comment is realizing how completely, thoroughly, absolutely and comprehensively i had forgotten that the Daily Kos exists. i'm now eagerly looking forward to forgetting again in a couple of months. i can't wait.
Not a bot!

i was programmed to go to these lengths, to keep you from realizing i'm a bot.
